People keep asking why we chose to live in Manchester rather than London. For us it was obvious. London is full of Australians. Also is costs more to live there. And for a couple of country kids Manchester was more our size and pace. Turns out we absolutely made the right decision. We loved Manchester- its vibe, its people, its super cheap flights into Europe…

Turns out budget airlines also fly out of Manchester. The flights do tend to cost slightly more than if you fly from London but after paying for flights from Perth the difference is really nothing. Plus the airport is easily accessible and services a fraction of the number of people.
