It goes without saying that the August bank holiday is one of the biggest weekends in Manchester’s calendar, as the city explodes with Pride.

Of course, there’s the usual fun and games of the ‘official’ Manchester Pride (featuring Simian Mobile Disco, Lisa Maffia, Mel C, Faithless, and loads more), but there’s other events taking place too.

The amazing Drunk At Vogue will be at the Love Party, which is part of a weekend of events which include music, comedy, readings and so much more. It is all hosted by the high priestess of Manchester, Grace Oni Smith. Find out about the events here.

Over at The Refuge, there’s more DJs and music under the Come As You Are banner. Homoelectric DJs will join the legendary Derrick Carter and Don Letts, as well as pop-up food stalls and more.
