An operation done by the Civil Police of Sao Paulo has left 10 criminals dead in the neighborhood of Morumbi in the southern zone of the capital, this happened Sunday night. According to eyewitness accounts there was a gunfight that lasted around 15 minutes and left no suspect alive. On the side of the police 4 were wounded by shrapnel. All the police involved were from the Department of Criminal Investigation. Following information that the police have given the bandits killed were the core of a gang that specialized in home invasions and they were being monitored. They already were suspected of having done at least 20 heavily armed assaults in Sao Paulo.
