This Sunday marks the end of endometriosis awareness week in the UK, and awareness campaigns are taking place all over the globe during the month of March.

Yesterday, on the streets of Barcelona I took part in my first EndoMarch, along with other sufferers and their friends and family. The event was organised by Endo&Catand there was a great atmosphere, driven along by a ‘batucada’ of percussionists giving the march plenty of rhythm!

It was great to see a mixture of men and women of different ages coming together to make some noise and give a voice to what is still a relatively little-known condition. I even saw a dog sporting a yellow neckerchief!
