The answer is always yes and not no.

After all, if it is real to you then it is real enough.

Below are multi strands of plastic beads (faux pearls) and a strand (wound twice) of real jet (the black beads).  I think at least they both look great (but then, that’s my neck out there)

Different outfits demand different pieces and many times plastic, stone metal are great all mixed up together.  The question should be are you happy wearing in this case the strand?

I  have a tendency to stack on multiple bracelets (which will be for another post) and I don’t really understand not coordinating multiple pieces just because one was inherited from Grandma and one was a thrift store treasure. Faux and real are kissing cousins.

I believe Grandma would be proud that you have your own still and that your jewellery reflects you.
