I Went to the Opening of the First Tim Hortons in Manchester

Hello, you may know me by now. I could be described as many things: actor, writer, amateur mac and cheese chef, adventurer, etc. But above all, I am a proud Canadian.

I love Canada. I miss Canada. I miss snow on the ground in the winter, though maybe that’s because I don’t have to drive over here and am forgetting the many mornings I used to wake up to -30 degree weather and was unable to get my car started. For now, I shall romanticize the winter wonderland Canada becomes when the snow falls and forget about how cold it really is.

Point is, much as I love it over here in jolly old England, my heart aches for maple syrup and snow. So when I found out a Tim Hortons was going to be opening only twenty minutes from where I lived, I was excited to say the least.
