The original title for this film is La Tortue Rouge. This is a French, Belgium and Japanese co-production animation film although this is the first non-Japanese film to be produced by Studio Ghibli. It is a film played out all the way through with just music. There are no words spoken so you could say that this is more like a silent film more than anything.
