A different way of life. So this is about a young girl in Afghanistan who goes by the name Parvana (Saara Chaudry). When her father is suddenly removed from the picture, her family is in a bit of a tough spot because of how radically different the culture treats women over there. In order to simply walk the street, she disguises herself as a boy so she can provide for her family. Now this was one that I was excited for, but I had no real means of watching this until after the fact. It never even got a wide release, so I don’t feel like this was really my fault.
