Copacabana is a very famous beach. Nearly everyone that has heard of Rio de Janiero has heard of Copacabana. I’d certainly heard of it, though I couldn’t tell you what I knew about it or why it was so famous. I was expecting to be blown away, but unfortunately it was the last beach I visited in Rio so my ‘wows’ were too exhausted for it to elicit a raving first impression.

It took my third time there for me to be blown away.
