World’s Largest Maple Syrup Festival

A small town located in Ontario, Canada named Elmira hosts a one day festival bringing in over 60,000 people qualifying it as the largest maple syrup festival in the world announced by Guinness Book of World Records.

This festival shuts down the popular single street Arthur from 7am to 4pm on the first weekend in April each year. The shops on the street remain open for amazing business on the day of, and the road is filled with booths serving up maple syrup shots, bottles, cans, jugs, taffy, pancakes, maple cinnamon buns, maple ice cream, apple fritters, corn on a stick, pickles on a stick, humongous turkey legs, sausage on a bun, fried chicken, jams, hot sauces, apple cider, coffee, lemonade, candy, and much more. If you can’t find something yummy to eat at this festival you’re considered picky!
