Minimal dwelling, maximum living?

This is a bit of an impromptu blog, but I have been inspired by a recent documentary about Minimalism and now I cannot stop thinking about one tiny thing… Tiny Houses!

Minimalism does not mean getting rid of all of your possessions, but rather only owning things that you use for a purpose, or things that bring you joy. It is an effort to step away from the modern world’s obsession with buying things in an effort to find meaning and happiness. The consumer driven world of technology and fashion tells us, through inescapable advertising, that we NEED the newest iPhone, the latest clothing trends. Minimalism suggests that we can live more deliberately, and by doing so we can spend less and enjoy life more.

The Tiny House movement is something which has really taken off in the US. It is essentially a small living space which can be mobile…
