Manchester Together – With One Voice

Tuesday 22nd May marked the one year anniversary of the Manchester Arena attack and an emotional day for our city. It meant an awful lot to us to be part of the Manchester Together – With One Voice event in Albert Square, singing together with over 3,000 people.

I was really proud that so many (49!!) SHE’s wanted to be part of the event. It really symbolised our community spirit, love and connection to Manchester and felt really special to be a part of it. Plus, me mum got to see me on the telly! ~ Genevieve

We heard really wonderful performances from some of the amazing choirs around Manchester. Manchester Lesbian and Gay Chorus did an enviable mash-up of Manchester tunes. You’ll have to teach us that one!
