Possibly the best way to spend an overcast Sunday; wander around an art gallery, relax in a coffee shop and mooch around market stalls. Manchester Art Gallery had a new exhibition on Scandinavian Design so we just had to take a look around.

They had the most amazing chairs on display, especially this reclining one. I wonder if it’s comfy or not… we’ll never know!

The dreamiest of table/lighting situations…

This art gallery has to be one of my favourite places to visit, the exhibitions they have on are always so interesting to look around on a rainy day. The building itself is beautiful and so is the garden which I took a lot of photographs from many different angles.

This has to be the most perfect shade of green. How beautiful, especially with the raindrops on.

We then stopped off for a coffee break to Idle Hands on Dale…
