On TV the running partner of Haddad makes a stir over Fake News

During the televised campaign hour this Saturday, the 13th, Manuela D’Avila, the vice-presidential choice of Fernando Haddad and the Worker’s Party, made an alert concerning the spreading of Fake News on social media networks.

The candidate cited as an example the accusation made by Jair Bolsonaro that the leftists would be making education about homosexuality mandatory in schools. Bolsonaro, a former military captain, made this point during an interview with the National Journal in august.

Haddad’s campaign showed news clippings that made it clear that the textbook that was specifically mentioned by Bolsonaro was never adopted by the Ministry of Education.
