I discovered this beautiful mural in a suburb outside the CBD of Johannesburg. It forms part of a Project whereby local artists are invited to do murals on residents walls.

Currently taking place in Johannesburg is the City of Gold Festival: https://www.cityofgoldfestival.co.za . “The aim of City of Gold is to establish Johannesurg as a destination for graffiti and street artists from around the world and assist the development of the local graffiti/street art community. In addition to this the festival seeks to highlight the positive aspects of this art form as well as involving the general public to create a heightened awareness of and appreciation for it.”
