Brazil was always seen as a country filled with happiness, parties and holidays, that gave us the excuse to dance and have fun for more than a week, such as the Carnaval. Brazil has been the country where people seem to be too busy with their samba and beaches, making people believe that nothing could be wrong over there. However, what most people do not know is that Brazil has been going through an economic and political crises that have affected the lives of many, if not most, Brazilian citizens and led them to desperation. The only hope Brazilians had was the election coming up this year and that they would be able to choose someone who would change Brazil for the better.
