A Book Lover’s Trip to: Manchester

My trip to Manchester – as described in my last post– was mainly to go to a concert, but when given the opportunity to explore a new city, I like to try and cram in as many book related destinations as possible. Luckily, my boyfriend, Simon, who is usually the one travelling with me, is as big a fan of books as I am (well, maybe he’s not quite as obsessed as me) so he actually enjoys these excursions and doesn’t have to be dragged along. So, after some research, and armed with a long list, we visited some of the bookiest places we could find. Manchester is a good city for book lovers, with several libraries and bookshops, selling both first and second hand copies, and, most importantly, TWO Waterstones.
