Lamin is 6 ft 2 tall with broad shoulders and easy smile. He is one of the friendliest people in Finland I have ever met! He is always happy. He always has welcoming body language.

I first met him in August of 2017 in Tallinn, Estonia, where I was meeting a female friend and taking photographs of the Estonians and architectures.

When I spotted him with his wife, Sari, in Viru shopping centre, I thought he was living in Estonia and his lady was an Estonian. It turned out it was wrong!

They were there for a day trip to buy a car. I knew he was a Gambian from his feature and height. So, we had a quick chat about my Gambian friends in England. And…
