Study ‘Anthony Burgess and his contemporaries‘ at Salford University. The ‘module’ is to be conducted in cooperation with the International Anthony Burgess Foundation ‘in their attractive city-centre building’ and ‘you will get direct access to the Burgess archives‘. Burgess will be examined ‘as a satirist, novelist and critic in light of the writing of his contemporaries’ — Chinua Achebe, V.S. Naipaul and others.
