Industrial Manchester: the old Dunlop factory

I don’t yet miss Manchester – not much, anyway. But I always appreciated its rugged charm, even if I didn’t necessarily enjoy wading through pools of sick on Sunday mornings*.

Manchester’s industrial past still casts a shadow on the present, even if the mills and factories of old are being converted into other uses at breakneck speed.
