The Bells of Peover

It was a couple of weeks ago now that I visited The Bells of Peover (I’m assured that it rhymes with Beaver). I was in Manchester for a few days and The Bells is situated not too far away, just South of Knutsford. The approach to the “dining pub” is down a road called the Cobbles, which as the suspension on the car can attest to, lives up to its name. The area surrounding The Bells is picturesque and the building itself is pleasant with a tree growing across the entrance and a smart looking interior.

The bar had a nice selection of local ales (the first thing I look for in any self respecting pub/gastro pub as it usually shows a care for/interest in local produce) and it was not long before being shown to a table.
