Race for Life, Cancer Research UK

Cancer Research UK is supporting research that focuses on finding cures for over 200 types of cancer. Through their effort and commitment over £330 million reached scientists, doctors and nurses in the past year. Their work will help more and more people win the battle against cancer.

Race for Life is part of the many fundraising activities designed by Cancer Research UK. Since it started, in 1994, six million women participated and £493 million have been raised. Currently, more than 230 events are organised across the UK, both 5k and 10k races.

On the 14th of July we are running for life in Heaton Park. We’ve been training hard for this event and we’d love if you could join. You can contribute to the battle against cancer by making a donation. And why not show up on the day to cheer for the ladies!
