Joined my girlfriend for a London School of Oriental and African Studies event (SOAS). Advertised with “A Samba band will lead you all the way to the venue.” And they did. I didn’t get any good photos of the drummer band, but to the beats of energetic drums and the swaying of feathers a huge crowd made their way through London’s streets, drinks in hand. SOAS is in town, no doubt.
