The food in Brazil

This is the first post about my beloved home country and I needed to choose a subject. Although they are all very popular abroad, the first thing that came to mind was not soccer, beaches, hospitality etc, but FOOD. Fat-mind on! I love eating, trying new tastes, textures, combinations, and in Brazil you can find all of these in rich and diverse styles.

I’m from the countryside of São Paulo state, a small town called São João da Boa Vista, and during the time I lived there, I was used to eating different things from different regions, but the day-to-day food was (and is) rice, beans, beef, salad (lettuce and tomato) and sometimes french fries.
