FREE ‘MODES CHEAT SHEET’: http://bit.ly/2VglVbH

Modes are a really cool musical concept, and once you understand them and learn how to apply them your musical understanding will expand well beyond the usual major and minor scales.

In this lesson we look at the modes from the major scale. They include Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolian and Locrian. Each one has it’s own use in different types of music – and they are all awesome!
