A documentary on the archaeological work in the cave of La Grande Roche at Quincay, France.

The idea was also to show the team work, the diversity (coming from different places in the world: the Netherlands, but also Spain, Australia, Norway, Greece, France), the students – of all level – working at the site.

All that under the umbrella of Professor Marie Soressi’s drive and vision for how such excavation can contribute to answering questions about our distant ancestors and the Neanderthals.
