“In late 2024/early 2025, @gettymuseum’s PST LA brought together cultural and scientific institutions from around SoCal to explore the intersection of Art and Science. The new PBS documentary ART & SCIENCE COLLIDE, explores the deep, often overlooked connections between these two fields and highlights five projects that were part of PST ART, and their creators: American Artist, Cannupa Hanska Luger, Special Species, Lauren Bon, and Hayv Kahraman. The documentary examines how creativity and inquiry intersect to inspire curiosity, innovation, and social impact.
