Busting ghost fishing nets in the Baltic Sea | Focus on Europe


Tons of lost or abandoned plastic fishing nets are polluting the Baltic and endangering its fish and other marine life. Recovering and disposing of these ghost nets is proving problematic for both environmental activists and the authorities.
