Does Manchester Need an Orbital Tram Route?


In the final video on Manchester’s tram history we go back to the future and look at some quite realistic possibilities for the current network expanding outward, beyond the city centre and joining up the areas towns.
this is the orbital tram route, touted in various forms over the years and a great way to overcome the city-centric, limited system Manchester currently has.
But is it needed? What will it look like? And how much fun can I really have drawing lines on maps and making up tram stops that don’t exist?
