HIST4302 Making Documentary History 2018-29, led by Prof. Michael Ostroff.

‘A National Crime’ won the ‘Best Documentary’ at this year’s juried screening. Sandrine Murray (Journalism), Jordan Gray (Global and Transnational History), Kyleigh Gault (History), and Astara van der Jagt (Journalism) wrote and produced the documentary “A National Crime”, which explored the efforts of Dr. Peter Henderson Bryce to publicize and put a stop to the horrific conditions he encountered in the Residential Schools in Western Canada, more than a century ago
