In this video with the aid of drone footage, we go in this AidanEyewitness update, we go on a tour of construction projects in progress or completed in the south west city centre area of Manchester and Salford.

I use two transport modes to bring you these pictures: drone and Brompton bike.

We float above the new district of St Johns on the former Granada TV site. On the south western side, we look at the unique set of seven tall towers by architects SimpsonHaugh and look back at the one that started the recent tall buildings trend in Manchester, the Beetham Hilton Tower. Riverview Tower and No One Spinningfields are also featured.
