This seems to be getting a global issue that wildlife moves into the cities. Wasn’t it in India, where tigers and mountain lions come into cities at night to snatch pigs? In Denmark we so far only have foxes in Copenhagen for example, but in Karlstadt in Sweden the bears come into the city park, and in the north of Germany they have problems with wolf packs that kill a lot of animals but also run after people. Making noise and clapping hands doesn’t seem to scare them. A friend reported that there are hardly any deer around anymore.

They’ll have to start carefully culling them to deter them from settlements, or relocate part of the pack to distant pastures new…

In Denmark the farmers are allowed to shoot wolves that attack their lifestock, but in Germany they are not. I thought that relocation into nature parks or something would be a good idea. Large packs of wolves do not belong in tightly settled areas.
