    Scary! Something like that, if on a small scale, happened to my family in Turkey. We were on our way from Üsküdar to Bursa and were stopped by the police, because further on about 10 m of road were missing. That piece of road was about 5 m further down than the rest of the road. Just imagine if somebody drives there at night. There weren’t any street lights. Or even during the day, before one sees it and hits the breaks …
