A series of installations using overexposed reflective material to create gaps in the image by Montreal-based photographer Francois Ollivier. The effect is like experiencing something ethereal that dissipates through time, at least for me that is.

Memory Lapses are temporary installations I photograph to revisit places linked to strong memories, past or recent. By overexposing reflective material in the process, data becomes absent from the digital file, creating an empty zone in the image that alters reality and distorts our perception: like time and distance do.
