São Paulo’s Garment District


Bom Retiro is São Paulo’s Garment District. I explored it once, about ten years ago, on a much busier shopping day. At that time there were many migrants from Central America working here, and using the second stories of the shops as their living area.

  1. I noticed the adventurous cable transfers. I have seen similar on Malta and some parts of the Canary Islands. How do they ever find out what is what? Trial and error, I presume …
