Certain themes emerge – construction is frequently on industrial land or former transport facilities, long derelict sites are now being built on but industrial heritage is being lost, it’s often good to include elements of an older building into its modern replacement, should every new building be a tall building, even in Manchester’s historic Northern Quarter district?
