  1. It is said in the video that the black death was caused by fleas on rats, the common belief. I remember having watched a video about a new study that found out that it was not the rats’s fleas, but that it was transmitted by human body lice. (I might even have seen that video here on your site). That would explain why we don’t have black death in New York now, wouldn’t it?
