WELCOME TO HOWTOWN! Our small but mighty team (Joss Fong and Adam Cole) digs into the evidence behind commonly held facts and claims in the news. This month: we’re about to mine one of the most unexplored places on Earth — and it turns out, it’s not a desert. It’s an alien zoo.

Check out Johnny’s episode on the fascinating fight over deep sea mining: • The $16 TRILLION Race to Mine the Ocean

  1. Picking the nodes up individually must necessarily be softer than trawling the ocean floor. In the video it shows that it would not pick up a node with an animal on it (if that is not only advertising).

But, I still think that science should have picked up (and should pick up) on Tesla’s free energy motor (energy from the environment) or on the saltwater motor, which exists for decades now, but not many companies are interested in it. It is all about making money, people don’t care what they destroy along the way.
