Voyager 1’s Most Unbelievable Images Before the Camera Shut Off


Ultimately, the final photos serve as a boundary marker for human history. They represent the last time we saw our home from the perspective of a traveler still within our own neighborhood. Voyager 1 is now a silent cartographer, no longer capable of showing us what it sees, only telling us what it feels, the density of plasma, the direction of magnetic fields, and the impact of cosmic rays.
