Swedish AirForestry has developed a 6.2-meter (20 feet) diameter drone designed for sustainable forestry by pruning, felling, and transporting trees without requiring forest access roads. The drone lowers a tool to delimb the tree via gravity, then cuts and carries the trunk away, protecting soil.
