On the right panel of Hieronymus Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights lies one of the most unusual details in the history of art — musical notes depicted directly on a sinner’s buttocks. In 2014, student Amelia Hamrick noticed this detail and deciphered the melody that had gone unnoticed for five centuries.
