In the most inhospitable of places, the flat, bleak, expanse of shingle that faces the Dungeness nuclear power station Filmmaker Derek Jarman, created a breathtakingly beautiful garden.
More than 25 years after Jarman’s death in 1994, the garden still delights and has just been saved by a £3.5 million fundraising campaign
