  1. That was a terrible time. Alone the idea to feed plant eating animals other animals seemed weird to me. I have also heard that sick sheep were fed to the cows because people thought the sickness could not jump species. Oh, boy, did it jump species! At the end of the video they shortly mention something about sick pigs and poultry being mixed into the fodder.
    And about 10 years afterwards, people in Denmark were talking about feeding sick sheep to pigs, because the sickness could not jump species. Do we ever learn?
