Director’s Statement:
This self-produced animated short film has been a labor of love, years in the making. I was inspired to create this during my free time as a personal exploration of an idea that had intrigued me for quite a while.
Through this film, I aimed to use animation as a medium to create a visually stunning and emotionally evocative experience for viewers. It is an expression of my creative vision and technical abilities, and I hope it connects with those who watch it.
I am grateful for the opportunity to share this film with you, and I hope it speaks to you in its own unique way. Thank you for taking the time to experience it.
Why were we forced to learn the recorder in school? It isn’t that easy to play and it sounds awful, right? In this video, Sabrina explores the surprisingly rich history of the recorder and traces the instrument from its baroque origins all the way to the modern day. She challenges herself to play the recorder and even enlists the help of a professional recorder musician.

– The Ondophone – the dream of a sound that never was… At least for now, there might be a future where the Ondophone will come to real life. In this weeks episode we are taking a closer look at the first Ondophone prototype, an amazing prototype that served its purpose perfectly by pointing out the flaws in the concept. Huge thanks to the ondophone Team:
