London Thames was DEAD – now it’s full of SEALS

In 1957, London Thames was declared biologically dead. But now, after several decades of clean up efforts, it is once again home to seals.

In this video, I explain what happened to Thames, how seals managed to return and I went searching for some myself.

Jamaican Tainos Survival | Indigenous Arawakan Tribe

Long before Jamaica’s transition to independence, before the British’s claimed their land, before the importation of African slave labor after the Spanish invaded their territory, before the resistance and uprising of the maroons, and before colonialism, the island was inhabited for hundreds of years by the indigenous Taino people.
