Camp 37 – What Once Was Ordinary (Short Film)

26 Jul 2026 #BoomBap #shortfilm #Camp37
[THE STORY]
In the summer, we were rarely home. We were children on two wheels, roaming as far as courage and daylight allowed. On any given day, we might be fishing, building tree forts, or playing basketball. Around noon on a hot day, the ice cream truck might come cruising down the street, its familiar melody sending us scrambling inside to dig through the couch cushions for change. Evenings were spent catching fireflies, camping by the river, orβ€”if it was a Fridayβ€”going to the drive-in theater, watching movies from the back of a station wagon. We felt free, we felt like we belongedβ€”and wherever we were seemed exactly where we were meant to be. We moved through those days largely unaware of the worries and struggles shaping the lives of the adults around us. We simply followed curiosity wherever it led. Family gatherings meant secret plans with cousins, crowded games, and the stories of elders we assumed would always be there.

Then fall arrived and stole our freedom, much like time would steal our innocence. We grew up. We moved away. People we loved passed on. Larger houses crowded our old neighborhoods, leaving smaller yards and streets absent of children. The drive-in theaters closed, their screens standing sentinel over empty lots. The woods, parks, and secret hiding places of our childhood were replaced by parking lots and shopping centers. Nothing about those days suggested that the world we knew was temporary. Innocence is fleeting, I suppose. Brief as the flight of a paper plane.

The Most Beautiful INTERSTELLAR ever Played In Public

[…]

Last year, I met Ella, who dropped the most amazing Interstellar Piano Cover in Public. I recieved many complaints about the sound quality, as all I had at the time was a phone with no microphone attached, so it captured a lot of background noise. Using a software, I managed to reduce the background noise a little bit.
The arrangement is mainly from Patrik Pietschmann! The piece was composed by Hans Zimmer

If you enjoyed the video, don’t forget to follow Ella on Instagram @ellastrazz

You Could Pay Β£176 to Cross this Victorian Toll Bridge

2 Aug 2026
The Warburton Toll Bridge over the Manchester Ship Canal is a historic and modern-day mess… but a great case study in why tolls are stupid in the 21st century!
